Central Valley Youth Soccer League (CVYSL) works together with the City of San Jose, City of Campbell, San Jose Unified School District, Cambrian School District, Campbell Union School District, and the Campbell Union High School District in order to support our community and to make our league a safe & healthy place for our youth soccer players.
In order to do this, we need participation from all the members of our soccer community. Please use the CVYSL website to find out specific guidelines for parking, etc. at all of our home fields as well as restrictions (no pets, for example). It is your responsibility to ensure that all team parents comply with the rules. When you are hosting a home game at one of the CVSJ fields, it is your responsibility to make sure an opponent knows of any parking restrictions, fees, etc.
In general, team managers should confirm game time/location with their opponent a few days prior to the match. Games are usually played rain or shine unless the fields are closed. Home game field closures will be posted on our website (www.cvysl.org) early in the morning – usually by 7am. You can also sign up to receive text message alerts for field closures on the CV website. Away game rules and field decisions are dependent upon the away club’s rules; be sure to communicate with them before notifying your team of game status.
