Recreational FAQ

  1. When will team formation be complete?  AGCs (age group coordinators) typically begin forming teams based on coach/buddy/school requests in June and try to have rosters essentially complete by mid-July.
  2. When are coaches notified of their team rosters?  We try to get the rosters out to the coaches around mid-July and ask that they contact all of the families on their teams by August 1.
  3. When and where are practices held?  The days, time, duration and location for practice are selected by coaches based on availability through the league.  Practices typically begin around the 2nd or 3rd week in August and go through the end of October when daylight savings time ends.
  4. When will we get the merchandise (t-shirts, sweatshirts, magnets) and raffle tickets that we paid for during registration?  Raffle tickets will either be mailed to the home address that you provided during registration or given to you by your child’s coach.  Raffle tickets will be due back at the end of August for the drawing on Opening Day, September 9, 2007.  Merchandise will most likely be given to you through your coach at the same time uniforms are distributed, around mid to late August.
  5. If I don’t hear from my child’s coach by August 1st, what should I do?  If you haven’t heard from your child’s coach by the beginning of August, please contact the appropriate age group coordinator via email only.   6. What if I have a question that is not answered above?  Please contact the league registrar via email only at with any other questions and she will direct you to the correct league official.
