Modified Rules of the Game

Rules
    • FIFA Rules apply
    • MODIFICATIONS ARE:
      • Off-Side
        • U7-U8: Only blatantly obvious offsides will be called.
        • U9-U18: Offsides will be called
      • Fouls and Misconduct
        • All fouls will result in an Indirect Free Kick with opponent 6 yards away in age groups U9 and below.
      • Penalty Kick
        • U6-U9: No penalty kicks are to be taken in these age groups.  The ball is brought out to the closest point on the 18 Yard Line.
      • Free Kick:
        • U6-U8: Shall conform to FIFA Law.  The only modification is that players get 8 yards not 10 yards.
        • U9-U10: Conform to FIFA laws of the Game.
      • Throw-In
        • Conform to FIFA laws of the game
        • One re-throw must be allowed if foul throw occurs.
      • Ball Size
        • U6-U8: Size 3
        • U9-U12: Size 4
        • U13+: Size 5
      • Field
        • U6:
          • Length - 30 yrds min - 50 yrds max
          • Width - 20 yrds min - 40 yrds max
          • Goal Area
            • 18 yards wide
          • Circle: 6yrd radius or 12 yrds diameter
        • U7-U8
          • Length - 40yrds min - 70 yrds max
          • Width - 35 yrds min - 50 yrds max
          • Goal Area
            • 18 yards wide
          • Circle: 6yrd radius or 12 yrds diameter
        • U9-U10
          • Length - 50yrds min - 90 yrds max
          • Width - 35 yrds min - 60 yrds max
          • Goal Area
            • 18 yards wide
          • Circle: 6yrd radius or 12 yrds diameter
      • Goals
        • U6
        • U7-U8: 6 feet high and 6 yards wide
        • U9-U10: 7 feet high and 7 yards wide
      • Game Time
        • U6: check with your age group coordinator
        • U7-U8: 4 ten minute quarters
        • U9-U10: 25 minute halves
        • U11-U12: 30 minute halves
        • U13-U14: 35 minute halves
        • U15-U16: 40 minute halves
        • U17-U18: 45 minute halves
