Competitive Team Tryouts - 2012 GIRLS

A new competitive team at the Copper (entry) level is looking to fill a few roster spots with players looking for growth beyond the recreational league. Three coaches aim to launch players into a competitive nature as they yearn to improve beyond recreational play. If your player wants to focus on their progression while contributing to a team camaraderie, then we would like to see you attend our upcoming training sessions. Coaches Jesse, Marc and Joseph have multiple years of soccer play and coaching experience that will allow for personal focus on progress.

Training sessions (3) will be held in Dec with a possibility to hold more if there is demand.

• Tues, Dec 12, 4-6pm at DelMonte Park

• Fri, Dec 15, 4-6pm at John Muir MS

• Sat, Dec 16, 2-4pm at John Muir MS

With over six years of coaching experience at CVSJ, Oscar's coaching philosophy centers on holistic player development. He places a strong emphasis on honing technical skills, maintaining peak physical fitness, fostering robust teamwork and sportsmanship, nurturing effective communication, and, above all, creating an environment where team spirit thrives. Recreational Youth Soccer Games

Recreational youth soccer teams will play a 9-game season, with games being held on Saturdays, and sometimes on Sundays due to field availability. Soccer games will begin the first weekend after Labor Day weekend (September 9) and will be completed the first weekend of November (when daylight savings ends). We will do our best to reschedule missed games due to forces of nature (eg. rain or smoke), fields permitting. Learn more about our Rec Program here.
