Viva CalleSJ creates a car-free haven, temporarily transforming miles of San Jose streets into a communal space where communities unite to walk, bike, skate, and play like never before. This extraordinary initiative invites everyone in the San Jose community to embrace the city's charm and beauty, all while enjoying a dynamic and free-spirited atmosphere.

10 A.M. to 3 P.M - Get ready to explore 6 miles of open streets, free from the constraints of vehicles. There's no designated "start" or "finish" on a Viva CalleSJ route, allowing you to relish the experience at your own pace. Whether you choose to pedal leisurely, roll on skates, break into a jog, or simply play, the day is yours to enjoy.

As you journey along, discover the heart of the event at three vibrant Activity Hubs scattered along the route. These hubs promise a feast for your senses, with an array of food trucks offering delectable treats, live music to set the rhythm, and vendors showcasing unique offerings. It's a celebration of community and culture, where you can engage with local artisans and enjoy diverse entertainment.
